Since Newsround is for children the show will choose stories that won't bore children such as politics will bore children whereas stories about animals won't.
Since BBC 10 O'clock news is for adults 16+ around the country they will choose stories that interests adults like politics from around the country.
Since Spotlight is for adults 16+ plus from the South-West they will choose stories that interests adults from the South-West, however if a story involves something from the South-West that is somewhere else it might be used.
